THE SCIENCE · THE SESSION · THE CONNECTION
Your body does the work. Here’s where Prime comes in.
Recovery involves living tissue: cells exchanging signals, blood delivering oxygen and nutrients, and a person experiencing pain, stress and rest. Prime brings several forms of physical input into one session—each with a different role.
01
Start with the signals cells already use.
Cells maintain electrical gradients across their membranes and communicate through chemical signals. Repair involves coordinated activity between many cell types. That is why researchers investigate whether carefully defined electromagnetic exposures can influence biological signalling.
In a PEMF applicator, current through coils creates a changing magnetic field. That changing field induces an electric field. Frequency, waveform, intensity and exposure time determine the signal being delivered. Prime supplies its whole-body format through the mat and local formats through Pad and Spot.
A closer look at the cellular research
In a 2013 laboratory study using human cartilage and bone cell lines, PEMF exposure increased the expression of A₂A and A₃ adenosine receptors and enhanced responses linked to reduced inflammatory-mediator release. This identifies a plausible signalling pathway—not a demonstration that Prime repairs cartilage in patients. The experiment used an IGEA generator.
The Hybrid mat adds adjustable far-infrared warmth while delivering PEMF. Its carbon-fibre heating layer supplies radiant heat: a thermal input you can feel, alongside the electromagnetic application.
Circulation is another part of the research story. In a randomized PEMF study involving 43 participants with or without diabetes, researchers found a greater change in small-vein blood-flow velocity than with sham exposure. Other circulation measures did not significantly differ. It used 12 Hz, 0.5 mT exposures for 30 minutes—a study protocol, rather than evidence of the same response from Prime.
The person on the mat is more than the area being treated. Exagon Brain adds rhythmic light, colour and audio to the resting experience. Photic stimulation supplies light pulses; chromotherapy describes the colour dimension; audio entrainment includes rhythmic tones and binaural beats.
These are sensory inputs. They give the session an audiovisual rhythm to explore while resting. Feeling relaxed is a meaningful personal experience; it is different from measuring a specific brainwave change or proving a fixed-time nervous-system reset.
04
Let measurement become part of the experience.
Exagon Sense measures the pulse optically at the finger. It evaluates HRV—the variation in intervals between heartbeats—and estimates SpO₂. Working with the controller, HRV feedback dynamically adjusts PEMF field intensity during the application.
This is the responsive connection within Prime: measure, adjust and continue measuring. The manufacturer also describes recording application data that can be downloaded for further review. Your clinic record captures the patient’s goals, reported experience and follow-up.
A coordinated session. Different inputs, distinct roles.
PEMF provides the electromagnetic exposure. FIR adds warmth. Brain delivers light, colour and sound. Sense closes the measurement-and-response loop. The controller coordinates the equipment, while iGUIDE and saved profiles help your team organize the application.
That is the practical value of bringing six dimensions together: one setup, a connected experience and controls your team can learn. Studies of an individual modality explain why it is worth investigating; they do not establish that combining all six accelerates healing or multiplies the effect. We explore the whole experience through appropriate assessment, a guided session and follow-up.

Whole-body pulsed electromagnetic fields and infrared warmth. Synchronized light, colour and sound. Responsive biofeedback. Explore what each dimension adds to your Prime experience.
Your PEMF foundation: whole-body applications through the mat, plus focused formats with Pad and Spot.
Explore this dimension
FIR mat: whole-body pulsed electromagnetic fields.
Pad: a cushion-style local applicator.
Spot: a flexible two-part local applicator.
EXAGON FIR
02 / Far-infrared warmth (FIR)
Adjustable radiant warmth adds a thermal dimension to your whole-body session.
Explore this dimension
Built into the Hybrid FIR mat.
PEMF and far infrared can operate together.
Temperature settings are managed through the control unit.
EXAGON BRAIN
03 / Light · photic stimulation
Rhythmic LED light brings a visual stimulation dimension to the audiovisual experience.
Explore this dimension
LED goggles provide pulsed visual stimulation.
Rhythmic light patterns form part of the audiovisual brainwave-entrainment experience.
Use follows the current instructions and light-sensitivity guidance.
EXAGON BRAIN
04 / Colour · chromotherapy
Colour patterns are integrated with the light and audio experience.
Explore this dimension
Colour is a separate dimension of the manufacturer’s six-dimension system.
Delivered through the same Brain goggles as light stimulation.
Coordinated within the audiovisual program.
EXAGON BRAIN + AUDIO
05 / Sound · audio entrainment
Rhythmic sound and binaural beats add the auditory dimension to your synchronized experience.
Explore this dimension
Audio entrainment uses rhythmic tones; binaural beats use a different tone in each ear to create a perceived beat.
Sound combines with light and colour in compatible programs.
Audio settings are managed through the control unit.
EXAGON SENSE
06 / Biofeedback · HRV & SpO₂
A feedback loop that responds to your recorded HRV during the PEMF session.
Explore this dimension
Finger sensor evaluates heart rate variability and SpO₂ for wellness purposes.
HRV feedback can dynamically adjust PEMF intensity.
Recorded session information can support review where the configuration allows.
iGUIDE · THE GUIDE WITHIN YOUR SESSION
From a named application to a familiar patient profile.
Browse the application library, review the manufacturer’s guidance for your configuration and select the relevant applicator and session parameters. Save selected settings in a named patient profile and return to them at the next visit.
Prime’s Split Mode divides the touchscreen into two independently controlled sessions. Select the applicator and parameters for each side from the same control unit.
Pad offers a broader local application surface; Spot provides a smaller, focused format. Explore how the two can be used within a session, with placement and settings guided by the current instructions and your care plan.
We demonstrate the controls and help your team understand the available combinations during training.

PRINCE’S SESSION APPROACH
One session. Three parts to explore.
Prince describes his approach in three parts. During your demonstration, we walk through the sequence and review how it aligns with current instructions and the individual’s care plan.
01 · Whole-body introduction
Begin with the Hybrid mat, adding Brain and Sense where appropriate. Prince’s initial whole-body segment typically lasts 8–16 minutes. HRV feedback informs PEMF intensity adjustment while the person rests.
02 · Application guidance
Review a relevant iGUIDE entry and its applicator, timing and intensity guidance. Select the session using the current instructions and professional judgment.
03 · Local focus & review
Explore Pad or Spot for a selected area using current placement guidance. Split Mode offers two independently configured applications. Review the response and document it in the clinic record.
We teach your team how to choose applications, position the equipment and build sessions around each patient, using current manufacturer guidance—with ongoing support as you get started.
